A longtime client suffered a knee injury and had to move his hunt to next year. On this Alaska Brown Bear hunt, you are with an outfitter who has been in business for 30 years! Hunts are for 10 full days. The spring hunts are combined with a black bear hunt at no additional charge beyond the tag fee. You will typically see many bears this hunt, and your chance of success is quite high. The cost includes 1-on-1 guiding service, trophy and meat care, and all meals and lodging while in the field. Clients are responsible for their tags and licenses, in-town meals and lodging if necessary, and charter costs to and from the field.

Plan for an authentic Alaskan hunt. These hunts are not based out of a lodge or a boat; instead, they operate from comfortable tent camps, which they move frequently to keep you in the best hunting areas for the given time and game movements. The slight sacrifice in comfort of this type of hunting is more than made up for in the quality and quantity of game you will encounter. They do not over-hunt areas and only book a limited number of clients per year. He operates primarily on a Special Use Permit from the Chugach National Forest, which gives him access to approximately 2.5 million acres of Alaskan Wilderness.
